Job Description

Join Our Team!

St. Luke Health Services in Oswego is now accepting applications for Certified Nursing Assistant Training

You will participate in our accelerated training program where you will learn through handson instruction how to care for our residents. Other skills will be taught to include Resident Rights Safety Infection Control Communication and Comfort. You will practice your new skills in the clinical days supervised by our RN Inservice Educator and our clinical supervisory staff. Physical requirements of the job include lifting pushing pulling twisting bending and standing. At least 80 of your workday will be spent using these skills.

At St. Luke over 90 of our CNA trainees pass the certification examinations for the first time due to our excellent training program and our commitment to giving you the tools you need to be successful.

Starting Your New Career

Your training continues with an extensive orientation where you will be paired with an experienced CNA who will help you adjust to your new job duties and act as a resource to answer your questions.

Schedule:

  • 8hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Overnight shift
  • Weekend availability
