Wentworth by the Sea Resort and Spa is seeking Banquet Bartenders to join our team. We specialize in multioutlet simultaneous events wedding weekends and week day corporate events.
This is a dual role and Banquet Bartenders will be crosstrained as Banquet Servers to fillin when needed.
Daily Activities of our Banquet Bartenders include:
- Build mobile service bars for social events according to event order specifications.
- Maintain responsible alcohol service policies and procedures including sanitization and safety.
- Reconcile cash appropriately charge credit cards and make deposits after shifts. Complete transactions through a Point of Sale system.
- Learn a variety of service styles including Americanstandard butlerpassed wavestyle and our premier house practice presidentialservice.
- Impress guests with teamoriented exemplary service.
- Build showready presentations and ensure standards are met for each active event room.
- Execute food and beverage service alongside the leadership team.
- Operate within provided assignments and timelines in accordance with the order of events.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the leadership team pertaining to the banquet operation.
A successful Banquet Bartender will have:
- Positive attitude strong work ethic with a malleable eager and willingness to learn approach.
- Ability to adapt to a changing and highservice demand work environment.
- Receptive to positive constructive communication.
- Confidence with guestfacing interactions.
- Reliability in appearing ready for service for each scheduled shift.
- Ability to work cohesively with coworkers and other departments as part of a team.
Pay is an hourly rate plus a portion of a gratuity pool based on weekly total hours and position worked.
