Job Summary:
As a MIS Specialist you will be playing a crucial role in optimising the use of information systems and technology to support the organisations operational efficiency and decisionmaking processes. This position requires a strong understanding of both technology and business operations. You would be responsible for designing implementing allocation and maintaining information systems that provide accurate and timely data to support decisionmaking and enhance overall business performance.
Responsibilities
System Design and Implementation: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement information systems and databases that meet the organisations requirements.
Data Management: Oversee the collection storage and retrieval of data ensuring data integrity security and availability.
Reporting and Analysis: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to deliver critical business insights to stakeholders. Perform data analysis to identify trends patterns and opportunities.
Software and Technology Management: Stay current with emerging technologies software applications and tools related to MIS. Ensure the organisations systems and software are up to date and secure.
Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on the effective use of information systems. Create and update documentation for system usage and troubleshooting.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in the use of information systems.
Requirements
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Management Information Systems or a related field (Masters degree is a plus .
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in CRM and database management systems data analysis tools and reporting software.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Google Spreadsheets is mandatory.
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. SQL Python is a plus) and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI is a plus).
Familiarity with information security best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
