Job Description
DESCRIPTION: Under direction make regular inspections of school building structures including all means of egress fire escapes interior and exterior walls windows ceilings interior and exterior doors.
Initiate or review requisitions for school building alterations and repairs.Prepare estimates of the costs; prepare specifications and sketches of proposed work; supervise work of contractors to insure the orderly completion of work; approve and sign invoices; perform related work as directed.
QUALIFICATIOINS:
- Required Knowledge of Massachusetts Building Code Schoolhouse Buildings and particularly those regulations applying to egress.
- Must possess a City of Boston Builders License C or minimum of a Commonwealth of Massachusetts Supervisors License
