Roles & Responsibilities :
Develop research projects with the research team and clinicians.
Participate in and lead research projects.
Participate and represent the research team in the Governing Board Steering Committee and Research Council meetings.
Work with the Management Team providing input on decisionmaking regarding operational and program direction.
Provide clear and actionable reports for the staff and other stakeholders as needed to implement the strategies and programs to further IACRF s mission.
Develop implement and monitor an evaluation process for the quality of research projects and outcomes in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer.
Develop relationships with other cluster partners and stakeholders to further the mission of IACRF.
Write/ help write proposals as necessary to fund research projects and facilities.
Serve as part of the organization s leadership team and contribute to the development
and of strategic decisions.
Skills and Competencies:
Demonstrated research in cancer biology and/or related areas. Ability to think strategically remaining focused on goals and objectives.
Proficient and knowledgeable in the use of modern approaches and methodologies.
High level of organizational skill and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple programs meet deadlines be persistent and solve problems as they arise.
Good communication skills.
Education and Experience: PhD or MD with demonstrated research eminence.
