Job Description
Excel Engineering is seeking a teamoriented highly motivated Program Manager to support our Power Utility Client in Minneapolis MN. Excel Engineering offers Electrical and Control System Engineering and Construction Management Consulting services in the US and abroad.
Primary Responsibilities
Candidates for the Program Manager role will be expected to have a strong background in project management within the industrial manufacturing utilities or renewables sectors. The program manager will perform the following tasks including but not limited to:
- Lead and manage energy efficiency projects ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. This includes oversight of program delivery commodity savings and performance measurement.
- Collaborate with senior portfolio managers and marketing analysts to develop strategic plans for multiple programs.
- Conduct performance measurements and data analysis to inform decisionmaking and optimize program effectiveness.
- Monitor compliance with regulations and grant requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and report on performance metrics.
Education
- Bachelors Degree required
- MBA Preferred.
- PMP Certification is preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program management.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience in SAP strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Compliance and regulatory knowledge.
- Utilities sector experience.
- Grant management expertise.
