How youll make an impact
- Create and update routine analysis and quality inspection plans for raw materials and final products.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive inspection reports.
- Inspect goods and products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Guarantee finished products meet required specifications before shipment.
- Ensure test equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Report quality anomalies to the quality engineer via quality alerts.
- Conduct wiring functional tests of control cabinets.
- Identify areas for improvement in quality control processes and follow applicable policies and procedures.
- Represent the Quality department on the production line to ensure compliance with operating procedures and production flow.
Your background
- Minimum of a 2year degree in electrical/electronic technology or industrial electrical testing.
- Work authorization to permit employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in a production environment as a Quality Technician Inspector or similar role.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9000 concepts and current quality control techniques.
- Experience in control wiring connection and testing is preferred.
- Ability to read 2D drawings and analyze technical information.
- Strong customer service orientation and proactive change agent mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP ERP or equivalent.
