A leading highly respected food and beverage manufacturer with iconic consumer brands is seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to lead food safety and quality operations at a flagship production facility. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on energetic leader with 7 years of quality assurance experience in food beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing and a strong foundation in compliance continuous improvement and team development.
What you will be doing:
Overseeing all plant Food Safety & Quality programs to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations (FDA CFIA FSMA).
Leading HACCP SQF and other regulatory programs while serving as the main point of contact for audits and inspections.
Managing and developing a large team (50 employees) fostering a culture of quality ownership across departments.
Delivering robust onboarding and recurring training in GMPs quality and food safety.
Driving continuous improvement in quality metrics audit readiness and incident reduction as part of site-wide improvement initiatives.
Partnering cross-functionally with Sales R&D Maintenance and Operations on product quality customer support and launches.
Ensuring sanitation pest control and environmental monitoring programs are effective and compliant.
Maintaining all plant SOPs managing the departmental budget and coordinating with corporate QA on vendor performance and corrective actions.
Experience you will need:
Bachelor s degree.
7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within food beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
5 years of leadership experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
Deep knowledge of HACCP GMPs FSMA SQF allergen control microbiology and root cause analysis.
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and quality KPI tracking.
Strong communication collaboration and organizational skills to drive cross-functional success.
