Are you a 24 year PQE disputes lawyer with broad industry experience We want to hear from you!
Join our national Dispute Resolution team in Sydney. You will work with one of our largest practice groups in Australia on a range of general commercial disputes with some of our leading litigation lawyers!

About the role and team
Baker McKenzies Dispute Resolution Group is one of the Australian offices largest practice groups and has the depth of experience and accomplishment to advise and represent clients in all matters associated with complex commercial disputes.
Our commercially pragmatic approach means we focus on the issues that matter to clients rather than simply managing the litigation process to a conclusion. We always take a strategic approach to disputes identifying and guiding the clients legal team on all available options to promote early resolution but never losing sight of the need to resolutely promote our clients best interests.
Our team includes some of Australias leading litigation lawyers each of whom is able to draw on the resources combined knowledge and experience of the global firms world class dispute resolution and litigation practice. This means that we have the privilege of being instructed by major national and international organisations in largescale complex litigation and dispute resolution across a range of industries and disciplines including in relation to:
- administrative law
- advertising and marketing
- arbitration and mediation
- class actions
- compliance
- corporate disputes
- financial transactions
- hostile takeovers
- information technology & communications
- inquiries/investigations (including white collar crime)
- insolvency and restructuring
About You
- 24 years experience in general commercial litigation
- relevant experience in a top tier or leading international law firm preferred;
- a strong client service orientation and business development aptitude
- strong technical drafting and commercial skills;
- excellent analytical communication and problemsolving skills;
- proactive and collaborative approach to work.
