About the Job:

We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team in Massachusetts. This role requires direct communication with clients on a regular basis; therefore strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to quickly absorb and apply legal knowledge to zealously represent clients. Strong critical-thinking creative problem-solving skills and an excellent memory are key attributes for success in this position.

The successful candidate must be trustworthy value transparency and maintain a professional demeanor that balances competence with empathy and care. A high standard of personal and professional excellence is expected along with the ability to hold team members to those same standards. A motivated self-starter with a passion for family law will thrive in this role.

Candidates must also be technically proficient in persuasive legal writing. Superior attention to detail excellent written and oral communication skills the ability to multitask and manage frequent interruptions and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.

Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and in good standing with 1 to 2 years of family law experience.

Additionally clients expect prompt responses and follow-up to all correspondence whether its over the phone or by email. It is critical to remain composed even if the client expresses frustration.
• Superior Attention to Detail - Ability to switch gears with shifting priorities. Given all the moving parts and daily interruptions it is critical that the Associate Attorney be able to shift their attention while still being detail-oriented and focused on quality.
• Organized and Systematic - In an environment with lots of moving pieces systems are essential and the ideal candidate would have a firm grasp on the importance of organization and following processes to ensure follow through. Additionally the Associate Attorney must have an excellent ability to manage multiple on-going projects at various stages of workflow so superior time-management skills are essential.
