Hire Resolve a leading recruitment agency is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager for lowcost housing projects in Cape Town.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning coordination and of lowcost housing projects. You will work closely with architects engineers contractors and government officials to ensure that projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans including scope schedule and budget
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of lowcost housing projects
- Ensure compliance with building codes regulations and safety standards
- Manage project resources including contractors and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders including government officials and community members
- Identify and address any projectrelated issues or challenges
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management specifically in lowcost housing
- Experience working in a consulting firm
- PMP Registered preferred
- Extensive knowledge of lowcost housing construction practices and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management software
- Experience working with government agencies and understanding of government regulations and processes
