Job Description
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
REPORTS TO: Virtual Construction Lead
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: None
TRAVEL REQUIRED: 25
WORK SCHEDULE: Day Shift
SALARY RANGE: $55k $85k (based on experience)
POSITION SUMMARY
The virtual construction specialist will assist senior VC members in all aspects of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and VC software while maintaining VC best practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Represents the companys VC capabilities by participating in presentations and interviews with clients and industry groups.
- Advises on trains and implements VC services for office and project teams including but not limited to asset management quantity takeoffs utilizing the model BIM coordination document and model management 3D modeling and reality capture.
- Assists in the creation and implementation of consistent VC processes that ensure successful project handoff to other VC groups.
- Supports the director construction innovation in research and development of new software and BIM processes.
- Conducts risk mitigation and conflict resolution on all VC projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree in Architecture Construction or any combination of education and professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above.
- Minimum of two years of industryrelated experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software including Power BI and Visio Autodesk AEC Suite and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Experience with other BIM software is desired.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in group settings.
- Selfmotivated to continuously improve and learn new tools and processes.
- Exceptional problemsolving skills and commitment to finding new solutions that better serve the companys workforce.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily an office position with some travel to project sites.
