Why This Role Is Valuable

Were looking for an experienced and driven Sr. AVP of Corporate Accounting to join our corporate finance team at Revantage. This accomplished directorlevel professional will be responsible for overseeing the monthly close process which would include financial reporting for Revantage and one or more Blackstone portfolio companies serviced by Revantage. In addition this person will manage portfolio company relationships with business partners from multiple leadership teams calculate and allocate expenses to portfolio companies with a responsibility of ensuring accuracy during the recharge process and assist with the preparation of financial data for both internal management and external parties including Blackstone and its ecosystem. They will supervise and develop a mix of onshore and offshore direct reports as well as assist their leadership in other corporate accounting responsibilities when necessary.

How You Add Value

Client Service

  • Provide excellent customer service to corporate departments portfolio companies and other accounting customers ensuring that their information needs and reporting requirements are met.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with departments and portfolio companies building trust while overseeing their accounting operations.

Corporate Finance

  • Oversee the monthly closing process for corporate departments and/or one or more portfolio companies with varied organizational structures and reporting requirements ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Produce or review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and budget to actual variance analysis for Revantage and/or one or more portfolio companies.
  • Oversee and review monthly reconciliations for corporate accounts and corporate workpapers.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments within the organization to help manage the cost allocation and recharge process including coding billing collections analysis and reporting.
  • Subject matter expert for cost allocations and associated systems and processes.
  • Maintain and adhere to existing accounting policies and assist in the development and implementation of new policies.
  • Train supervise develop and review the work of one or more Senior Accountants and Accountants both onshore and offshore.
  • Manage established accounting deadlines.
  • Assist with inhouse training programs.
  • Propose and implement changes to current processes that may be identified as needing improvement.
  • Work with external audit and consulting firms as required.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

What You Bring To The Role

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience with an emphasis on cost allocations strong project management skills and process improvement.
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience with a proven track record of managing/developing onshore and remote teams.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office combined with a high level of proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/databases.
  • Excellent communication problemsolving and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a fastpaced corporate environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Preferred:

  • CPA certification
  • Workday Financials experience

Base Compensation Range:

$175000.00 To $200000.00. This represents the presentlyanticipated low and high end of the Companys base compensation range for this position. Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location and experience.

Total Direct Compensation: This job is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
