Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) is a body corporate constituted by the Greyhound Racing Act 2017 charged with providing strategic direction and leadership in the commercial management of the industry in NSW. In its role GRNSW promotes the exciting racing aspect of the industry but also the equally important welfare and rehoming of our animals once their athletic careers are behind them through numerous pathways. This role is working with our Greyhounds As Pets program supporting our greyhounds find their forever home. Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our high performing team. Reporting into the Head of Marketing this role is responsible for managing the digital function of GRNSW and overseeing all digital channels and our online presence. The role is responsible for paid media and media strategy that will enhance the profile and drive revenue growth for GRNSW and GAP (Greyhounds As Pets) via online and offline channels. The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote our brand and engage our audience.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage strategic relationships with stakeholders including media and agencies to promote transparency enhance integrity and support the sustainability of greyhound racing.
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies including SEO/SEM paid media campaigns and content management across all channels to maximize audience engagement website traffic and lead generation.
- Drive rehoming opportunities and greyhound welfare initiatives through targeted marketing audience segmentation and automation workflows.
- Lead the development and management of digital platforms including CRM systems marketing automation tools and website performance optimization ensuring seamless integrations.
- Provide analysis and reporting on digital marketing performance leveraging tools to optimize campaigns track key metrics and ensure ROI.
- Support broader marketing strategy development social media initiatives and brand management to align with GRNSW and GAP objectives and drive event awareness.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in marketing or related field.
- Proven track record of success in digital marketing roles with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- A background in racing sports entertainment or a similar industry and a curious mind.
- Superior interpersonal team influencing and communication skills with a demonstrated capacity to influence stakeholders of varying backgrounds; ability to facilitate consultative stakeholder meetings and navigate often diverse and conflicting positions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive marketing decisions.
- Proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO paid media and marketing automation.
- Experience working across multiple brands at the same time with the ability to tailor approaches.
- Superior written communication skills including demonstrated achievements producing high quality written content briefs and/or publications for a variety of audiences.
- Strong experience with CRM and website management.
- Strong experience in target marketing techniques segmentation strategies and customer relationship management.
- Excellent organisational skills including a demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet stringent deadlines.
- Confident and engaging stakeholder management skills who is not afraid to share new ideas.
- High level personal ethics integrity respect for others and an ability to deal professionally and effectively with a diverse range of people.
