Job Summary:

This position is for a Manufacturing Technician on Gimbal products primarily responsible for the test and calibration of Gimbal product. Inspect and review all hardware and paperwork to ensure quality of product is consistent and up to TeledyneFLIR Standards. Work with manufacturing engineers in the development of new calibration procedures. Assist document writer in the editing of procedures and review datasheets for accuracy. Works independently on routine tasks and takes direction from lead technicians on problem resolution. Attention to detail.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Calibration and testing of advanced assemblies.
  • Follow manuals and calibration procedures to ensure consistent system performance.
  • Provide written feedback on issues related to testing of the product along with documentation defects.
  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies using basic test equipment such as calipers Digital multi meter Oscilloscopes and other test equipment.
  • Document results on discrepancy records.
  • Work with manufacturing engineers on New Product Introduction and conducting experiments.

Job Qualifications:

  • Requires High school graduate preferably a Technical high school.
  • 24 years experience in electrical and system testing.
  • Electrical knowledge of voltage resistance and current
  • Must have computer knowledge.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds routinely.
  • Preferred experience
  • Familiar with connector/cable assembly
  • ESD knowledge

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
