Job Description

Main Responsibilities

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring product quality for work in process finished products and raw materials by following established methods and procedures. This opening is in our liquid coatings facility located in Fayetteville Tennessee.

Your Challenge
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits on the liquid coatings produced at our facility to ensure compliance with company and customer standards
  • Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Operates lab equipment required to perform job functions. (Color spectrophotometers scales air mixers spray guns gloss meter DFT gauge light booth etc.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement quality control processes
  • Collect and maintain quality control documentation including inspection reports and nonconformance records

Experience

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in a quality technician or color matching role
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and conducting quality inspections
  • Experience with data collection and analysis for quality management purposes
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
