Structural Engineer
Minneapolis MN Hybrid Direct Hire $80 $100k
Konik is partnering with a local engineering consultant who is seeking to add a structural engineer to their team.
Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead structural design efforts by applying advanced engineering principles industry standards and problemsolving skills to develop efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects engineers and clients to deliver highquality project outcomes.
- Evaluate design alternatives in early project phases to support informed decisionmaking and present recommendations effectively.
- Prepare and review structural calculations edit specifications and ensure coordination of technical drawings across disciplines.
- Conduct construction site visits (up to 10 travel) to observe progress address RFIs and review shop drawings for compliance.
Structural Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering focus.
- 4 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in structural analysis design codes and construction practices.
- Ability to mentor and support junior engineers while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Experience writing proposals estimating project fees and engaging with clients throughout project .
