Summary
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Mader Group you will be essential in troubleshooting diagnosing and performing preventative maintenance on a diverse range of heavy machinery. This position allows you to leverage your expertise while contributing to our mission of delivering highquality maintenance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on heavy equipment to identify issues.
- Conduct major component change outs and emergency repairs as needed.
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Work independently or as part of a team depending on operational requirements.
- Utilize provided tools and resources to enhance your knowledge of various equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in heavy equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience repairing heavy mobile mining equipment.
- Minimum 3 years experience with CAT Komatsu Hitachi Sandvik etc.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong vehicle maintenance skills with a focus on industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical systems related to heavy machinery is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs.
- Customer service orientation with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of farm machinery is a plus but not required.
