Job Title
Director Offsite Solutions
NOC Code: 00015 (Senior Managers Construction)
Wage: Starting at CAD $195000
Location(s) of work:Ave SE Calgary Alberta T2H 2M4 Canada. May be required to travel to worksite locations across Alberta.
Number of Positions: One 1
Required Language Skills: English (spoken and written)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Modular Solutions division aligning with Birds overall business objectives.
- Identify and pursue market opportunities to expand the offsite solutions portfolio including new technologies partnerships and client sectors.
- Monitor industry trends emerging technologies and the competitive landscape to maintain a leading edge in modular construction.
- Oversee the endtoend delivery of modular construction projects ensuring timelines budgets and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design engineering procurement and project management) to optimize workflows and enhance project efficiency.
- Implement and maintain processes to ensure compliance with safety environmental and regulatory standards.
- Build and lead a highperforming team fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Drive accountability and performance through clear goalsetting and regular evaluations.
- Cultivate relationships with clients partners and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Act as a key point of contact for major modular projects providing strategic guidance and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Represent Bird Construction at industry events conferences and forums to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of senior managerial expertise as well as proven experience in multimillion (over $100 Million) large and complex construction projects in urbanized environments.
- 5 years of experience in modular/offsite construction or a closely related field.
- Ability to develop corporate strategies and longterm plans.
- Proven track record of successfully managing largescale construction projects including designbuild and modular delivery.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills with experience in budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.
Required Education:
- A Bachelors degree in Project Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field is an asset.
