As an Associate in the Lending CFO team at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management you will be part of a global leader team providing toptier financial advice and services to high net worth team members and families. You will deliver highly customized solutions by leveraging our firms commercial and investment banking capabilities. In this role your focus will be on analytics forecasting and profitability of Lending products. Your responsibilities will include budgeting forecasting and strategic financial analysis to influence business outcomes and challenge performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Produce daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly and adhoc reporting of the results and drivers for senior management
- Reporting on and monitoring key metrics driving data quality initiatives across the product area and helping define future needs of the product area.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Lending Solutions Leadership through the development and management of annual financial budgets and monthly forecasting processes.
- Analyze financials to understand business drivers and identify opportunities to improve.
- Participate in the monthend close process with the broader GPB finance to research/resolve data issues.
- Navigate interpret and analyze data sets and prepare insightful presentations for business reviews and senior management meetings.
- Execute analytical adhoc requests and support various stakeholders
- Create efficiencies through automation & process reengineering
- Enhancing controls and streamlining existing processes.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Minimum of CA or an MBA in Finance is required
- 5 years of work experience in Financial Services and/or accounting/controller background. Very strong excel (super user) & PowerPoint skills are required;
- Proficiency in Tableau Alteryx (should be able to create Alteryx workflows independently) required
- Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets
- Inquisitive enthusiastic and diligent and capable of challenging peers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly. Ability to create adhoc reporting for senior management.
- Proven track record for executing on special projects / assignments often with little lead time or information
- Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines. Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business Finance and FP&A Teams
- Highly motivated selfstarter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Proficiency in Python and SQL is preferred
