You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a motivated postbac researcher to join our dynamic team investigating the basic mechanisms underlying metabolic diseases including obesity fatty liver diabetes and cancer. Our research focuses on how dysregulated lipid metabolismdriven by key enzymes and their protein regulatorsand hormonal signaling contribute to cellular lipotoxicity and metabolic dysfunction. We welcome curious selfmotivated candidates who are eager to learn and gain handson experience with cuttingedge biochemical assays cell culture techniques and animal metabolic phenotyping in an interdisciplinary environment spanning biochemistry endocrinology and physiology. A background in molecular cell biology biochemistry or a related field coupled with strong analytical and collaborative skills is preferred.
The Graduate Research Appointment (GRA) is a postbaccalaureate appointment for participants with an interest in biomedical research. The primary purpose is to provide a postbaccalaureate laboratory research experience that applies skills in science technology engineering or math to biomedical research including basic science or translational research. GRA participants will have the opportunity to participate in selected graduate classes and seminars while working in this role.
Bachelors degree with a strong background in science technology engineering or math.
