Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The role includes supporting a daily caseload of 8 12 procedures involving coronary artery disease peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias. First-time travelers and local candidates are welcome to apply.

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures including coronary and peripheral angiography PTCA PCI and pacemaker insertions

• Maintain a sterile field while scrubbing and assisting physicians

• Monitor hemodynamic data and assist in accurate documentation

• Set up and operate cath lab equipment ensuring calibration and safety compliance

• Administer and manage fluoroscopy under appropriate licensure

• Provide support for EP procedures and neurological interventions when applicable

• Participate in rotating call shifts per department needs

• Maintain equipment and inventory and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked

• Must have 2 years of Cath Lab experience in a hospital or interventional setting

• Must be proficient with a wide range of procedures including PCI pacemaker insertions thrombectomy and advanced peripheral interventions

• Fluoroscopy Permit must be active or in process (must show proof of application at time of submission)

• Epic experience preferred

• Call required; weekend shifts are not required

• Caseload: 8 12 procedures per day

• RTO must be approved at submission

• Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 2-week period

Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program

Experience:
Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience (required)
First-time travelers accepted

License & Certifications:

• ARRT (R) Required

• Fluoroscopy Permit Required (pending accepted if application submitted)

• BLS Required

• ACLS Required

• RCIS Accepted only with 5 years of experience

• RCIS alone not accepted unless accompanied by extensive experience

Procedural Responsibilities:

• Scrubbing and circulating for complex interventional procedures

• Accurate hemodynamic monitoring

• Equipment setup and post-procedure room turnover

• Familiar with coronary diagnostics and interventions pacemakers Impella peripheral stents vascular access management
