Job Description
The Communications Coordinator will work to expand targeted outreach efforts and promote evidencebased screening practices. The incumbent will provide support and leadership to collaboratively promote populationbased quality screening and appropriate followup for breast cervical and colorectal cancer and promote prevention of cervical skin lung and tobaccorelated cancers using targeted communications and outreach for several large statewide programs including the Louisiana Comprehensive Cancer Control Program the Louisiana Breast and Cervical Health Program Louisiana Healthy Community Coalitions and colorectal cancer initiatives. He/she will support offices at LSUHSC NO including governmental affairs Foundation and communications in providing information on LCP to LSUHSC NO stakeholders and donors. Work with LCP staff to strategize and expand social media presence.
