Your role

The Digital Sales Innovation Sales Associate operates in a digitally savvy officebased sales organization that holistically serves customers with targeted solutions leveraging unique soft skills tools and datadriven alerts ensuring that every interaction is personal and relevant and conducted in the manner that the customer prefers. The DSI Sales Associate operates at the cuttingedge of the available technology and in a highly experimental environment where failingfast is encouraged as a means to honing the most impactful sales DSI Sales Associate is driven to exceed his/her sales teams objectives and to cooperate and share the most successful digital sales techniques within the Digital Sales Innovation team and to other Inside Sales teams in the broader Applied Solutions commercial teams. The Sales Associate (SA) is an entry level Sales position designed to learn on the job with guidance from DSI Regional Director. The SA will work collaboratively as a team with Account Managers and other SAs to execute business plans and sales strategies to defend and develop existing account sales crossfunctional collaboration and valuecreation. Sales Associates are responsible for achieving sales targets and sales objectives in an assigned territory through effective of the sales strategy and proactive (outbound) contact overall territory management and team collaboration. The ideal candidate is results oriented driven and curious. An agile highly collaborative and early adopter mindset is important. Role responsibilities:

  • Consistently achieve sales objectives & targets established by leadership utilizing defined sales activities
  • Effective of the defined sales strategy
  • Maintain a level of technical and application competence and utilize this knowledge in a manner which will enable him/her to add value and promote customer improvement
  • Submission of accurate quarterly forecasts and forecast updates as requested on a timely basis.
  • Maintain effective and professional communication with customers both external and internal
  • Schedule and execute campaigns and promotions within the defined territory.
  • Manage effective pricing strategies to include but not limited to: Contracts Pricing Agreements Renewals negotiations and implementations.
  • Ability to travel as necessary for meetings training and customer visits if applicable

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in life science (i.e. Biology Chemistry or similar disciple)
  • 1 years of experience in a scientific environment (i.e. lab) or demonstrated selling experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience working with various sales tools and technology including but not limited to Microsoft Office software Sales Force or another CRM is preferred
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
  • General understanding of the Life Science Research marketplace and market business trends
  • Digitally savvy and social
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization inspiring teamwork to achieve results.
  • Competencies in selling skills including digital sales relationship building call planning territory development followup and/or closing skills.
  • Strong & demonstrated presentation skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Demonstrated team and individual goaloriented mindset and accomplishments
