OPPORTUNITY
The Manager Individual and Corporate Giving plays a critical role in supporting Green Dots mission to prepare students for college leadership and life. This position will work closely with the Vice President of Development to achieve Green Dots fundraising goals. The Manager Individual and Corporate Giving is responsible for growing and sustaining the base of individual donors and managing campaigns & events that generate curiosity excitement and support from individuals and corporations. This includes but is not limited to managing ongoing inperson cultivation events working with the Development Engagement Specialist and Communications team on collateral and implementing varied fundraising strategies to execute campaigns that lead to a growth in individual and corporate support. The Manager Individual and Corporate Giving is a key steward in donor and corporate relationships and will be responsible for actively engaging in networking and partnership engagement to elevate the visibility of Green Dot Public Schools. This position reports to the Vice President of Development and works as a part of and in collaboration with a diverse and resultsoriented Development team that centers the needs of Green Dot students. The position will manage the Development Engagement Specialist and be accountable for specific fundraising goals.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual Giving:
> In collaboration with the Vice President of Development manage a portfolio of individual donors who have the capacity to support $2500 and above annually with a focus on unrestricted gifts.
> Develop and execute a comprehensive multiyear strategy to grow Green Dots individual donor base including research cultivation solicitation and stewardship.
> Collaborate with the Development Engagement Specialist to ensure stewardship of all donors is maximized.
Corporate Partnerships:
> Develop and execute a comprehensive multiyear strategy to grow and sustain corporate giving through sponsorships grants and partnerships utilizing strategic campaigns for engagement.
> Oversee corporate volunteer efforts that support strategic priorities of Green Dot.
> Utilize identified campaigns that create mutual benefits and maximize visibility with corporate partners.
> Serve as a point of contact and manage corporate relationships.
Campaigns and Events:
> Develop and manage a strategy that strengthens donor cultivation and stewardship campaigns leveraging multiple media to grow the donor base and reach ambitious development goals. Currently this includes two annual campaigns (EndofYear and spring campaign).
> In collaboration with the Development Engagement Specialist lead the strategy and planning for donor cultivation events including Ambassador and Board events school tours and mock interviews.
> Attend networking and/or development events to maximize stewardship and to support hosts and Green Dot leadership.
> Provide oversight and strategy of largescale fundraising events such as an annual or anniversary gala so that the intended goals of increasing external funding are met.
> Work with the Development Engagement Specialist and Green Dots Communications team on marketing strategy/deployment and video content development.
> Manage spending and budget lines for each event/campaign and manage expenses to ensure they stay within budget.
Content Development:
> Write and communicate clearly with a compelling voice aligned to Green Dots organizational mission brand and stakeholders.
I> n collaboration with the communications team and other development team members design and write pitch and cultivation materials for distribution online and in print including video narratives slide decks and printed materials.
> Develop supporting collateral for Development purposes including but not limited to school tours the GDPS Ambassador program and campaigns.
> Write and distribute a quarterly newsletter for current and prospective donors and internal audiences including the Board of Directors leadership staff and school sites.
Additional Responsibilities:
> Manage the Development Engagement Specialist.
> Take on ad hoc projects as needed to advance Green Dots orgwide Development goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
As an ideal candidate you:
> have a bachelors degree (required).
> have a minimum five years of experience in direct fundraising and/or corporate engagement is essential.
> possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with various types of people including senior leaders inside and outside the organization.
> have strong project management skills. Wellorganized detailoriented and able to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
> have a high level of initiative creativity and energy.
> have knowledge and experience using donor management software (CRM) Microsoft Office Google suite and productivity software (preferred experience in using Salesforce).
> have a proven ability to leverage online fundraising platforms and/or major social media sites for successful campaigns and fundraising.
> adhere to the highest ethical standards demonstrates an empathetic disposition and perseverance; uses discretion and good judgment; reflects an optimistic and positive attitude. > are interested in reforming public education.
> are willing and able to travel; able to work some weekends and evenings.
> are humble with a sense of humor and a rocksolid commitment to Green Dots mission and the communities we serve

COMPENSATION
The starting salary range for this role is $90000 $100000. To allow for salary progression over time offers at the top of the range are rare. Individual education and experience will be considered when issuing offers.
