The Role
The Business Development Manager role for the New Construction Division is a strategic role responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base within the Tier 1 new construction sector repaint and refurbishment. The core objectives include;
- Conducting indepth market research across all sectors to identify trends customer needs and emerging opportunities within the repaint and refurbishment sector.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets including identifying target customers setting sales goals and implementing sales strategies with Management.
- Creating sales plans and execute the sales strategy. Achieving sales growth and ensuring that the company and individual annual sales quotas are met.
- Identifying and engaging potential clients build and maintain strong customer relationships and secure new projects for repaint maintenance & building services.
- Working closely with the Estimator to measure buildings internal/external substrates and enter a takeoff into share point. All projects over $250k must be reviewed and approved by Management.
- Preparing and presenting proposals tenders and quotations to customers using templates in SharePoint addressing their specific needs and requirements.
- Maintaining uptodate knowledge of products services and industry standards to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Providing regular reports and updates on sales performance market trends and competitive intelligence to Management.
- Developing and managing the annual budget for the New Construction business unit working closely with Management.
About You
This position requires a dynamic and resultsdriven professional with a strong understanding of the SEQLD construction industry exceptional sales and relationshipbuilding skills and the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities;
- You will have extensive B2B sales experience in the Construction industry and ideally be currently selling to Tier 1 Principal Building Contractors
- You will have a full clean QLD drivers license and be willing to travel around construction sites and head office locations around SEQLD for client meetings.
- You will have superior written and verbal communication skills.
- The ideal candidate will have worked for a large painting subcontract business however anyone working in a similar capacity for any sub trade or supplier to will be highly desirable.
