ArchitectLocation: BangaloreRole overviewWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Architect to design and implement a modern cloudbased platform for insurance agents. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the architectural development of our Platform for Insurance Agents (PruForce) which aims to streamline agent interactions improve customer service and enhance business performance.Key Responsibilities: Design and develop a scalable secure and highly available cloudbased architecture for PruForce leveraging modern technologies such as Kubernetes Docker and containerisation.Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement APIs using Kotlin/Java Spring Boot ensuring they are robust scalable and aligned with industry standards (e.g. OpenAPI JsonSchema). Create API schemas using OpenAPI and JsonSchema to ensure consistency and reusability of APIs across the platform. Have a deep understanding of relational and nonrelational databases including data modeling schema design and query optimisation. Design and implement an eventdriven architecture that utilises asynchronous publishsubscribe messaging technologies such as Google PubSub RabbitMQ Artemis or Kafka to enable realtime integration with various systems.Formulate and document a broad range of solution architectures to meet our Enterprise architecture requirements including integrations with Salesforce (Financial Services Cloud) Core Systems and Data Platform (UDP). Collaborate with the development team to ensure that the platform is properly tested validated and deployed in a cloud environment. Develop and maintain technical roadmaps architecture designs and standards for the PruForce platform.Key Requirements:8 years of experience as an architect or senior developer with expertise in modern cloud architectures API development and data modeling. Strong understanding of Kotlin/Java Spring Boot and its ecosystem. Experience with OpenAPI and JsonSchema for API schema design and documentation.Familiarity with relational and nonrelational databases including data modeling schema design and query optimisation. Knowledge of asynchronous publishsubscribe messaging technologies such as Google PubSub RabbitMQ Artemis or Kafka. Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.Preferred: Experience working in an agile environment with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.Experience documenting architecture using the C4 model. Familiarity with DevOps practices including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Knowledge of cloudbased storage solutions such as AWS S3 Azure Blob Storage or Google Cloud Storage. Understanding of the Insurance domain and its specific requirements
