Job Description
Lehigh University Athletics is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our esteemed Womens Soccer program as an Assistant Coach. Position Number: S82590
This position is a Grade: 7 40 with an approximate salary range of $38500$46220 and is subject to change based on experience skills and qualifications.
In this pivotal role you will work closely with the Head Coach providing invaluable support in all facets of the program. Your responsibilities will include:
Develop sport specific studentathletes through counseling advising educating and motivating.
Assist the head coach in all areas of planning (practices training sessions team and individual conditioning lineups and competitive strategies) and provide leadership for some aspects of sport specific planning.
Organize and execute the plan for sport specific athlete recruitment coordinating communications with relevant on campus and off campus personnel.
Assist the head coach in planning and evaluating program results status and priorities.
Assist in promoting strong public and media relations.
Assist in achieving competitive success within the Conference.
As an Assistant Coach you will play a vital role in shaping the futures of our exceptional studentathletes. You will be responsible for analyzing performance data and providing personalized guidance to maximize each athletes potential on and off the field.
To thrive in this role you must possess the following qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Masters Degree preferred
One to three years of related work experience
Experience as a studentathlete
NCAA Certification required
CPR/First Aid required
Deep understanding of the game and passion for mentoring young talent
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and sportsmanship
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders
