Sales Ledger Clerk Job Description

The Role:

We are looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join Oak Activities based onsite in Ramsey Cambridgeshire. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop within our growing Finance Team.

  • Maintain an organised and uptodate Sales Ledger ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.

  • Set up new customers and maintain accurate contact records.

  • Take ownership for the preparation of the month end sales invoices with full reconciliation to the Nominal Ledger.

  • Manage credit control to ensure payment terms are adhered to reporting aged debtor status to the Finance Manager monthly.

  • Through proactive engagement with AP Managers resolve customer invoice discrepancies.

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience in Finance and an AAT qualification or equivalent is essential.

Experience with Sales Ledger would be beneficial.

Be selfdriven with the ability to work independently and manage own responsibilities.

Attention to detail to accurately record information on our systems at a fast pace.

Professional communication via email and phone to convey detail in a clear and concise manner.

Willingness to learn and develop own skills.

Knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Office including Outlook Excel and Word.
