Position: Funded Open Accounts Trade Finance Specialist
Location: Chennai
Experience: 3 Years

Job Summary:
The Funded Open Accounts Trade Finance Specialist is responsible for overseeing working capital financing supplier financing invoice discounting and export/import financing. This role involves structuring trade finance solutions ensuring timely fund disbursement and mitigating credit risks while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Funded Trade Finance Facilities including preshipment and postshipment financing invoice financing supplier financing and factoring.
- Assessing borrower creditworthiness and trade transaction risks.
- Executing and monitoring transactions ensuring timely fund disbursement repayment tracking and reconciliation.
- Coordinating with clients counterparties banks and financial institutions.
- Ensuring compliance with AML KYC FEMA UCP 600 and Basel guidelines.
- Optimizing trade finance processes and workflows.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in invoice financing supplier credit and working capital loans.
Strong knowledge of UCP 600 ISBP trade credit insurance and regulatory compliance.
Risk assessment and financial analysis abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in SWIFT trade finance platforms and Excel.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelors/Masters in Finance Banking or related field
- Experience: 3 years in funded trade finance corporate banking or lending
- Certifications: CFA CDCS or Trade Finance Certifications preferred
