Job Description

  • Bachelors degree in business or related discipline

What We Offer...

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual meritincrease program and we are targeting a salary range of $58k $87k based on your level of skills qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program which offers a cash bonus targeting 5 of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with paid vacation for up to 3 weeks to use during your first year of employment. In addition after being employed for six months eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year providing a total of 88 hours along with paid parental leave for all full time employees

The Leadership Development Professional role is a part of the Wood Products business working in the Boise Distribution Center. This is a Full Time NonExempt position. Relocation benefits are available for this and subsequent positions. This role will report to the Area General Manager.

This is an entry level leadership developmental position. Working under close guidance with assigned mentors this individual will be accountable for growing and strengthening their leadership skills and general business understanding of the sales and operations of a building products distribution center and other major functional areas through a detailed 12month development plan including handson learning operational rotations and successful completion of process improvement projects.

The successful individual will be assigned to the next role once development is successfully completed and a suitable assignment is identified that meets business needs.

Key Functions:

  • Develop safety leadership skills
  • Structured 12month rotation through operational areas of the distribution center
  • Projects and assignments to promote active learning and contribute to distribution centers successful performance
  • Exposure to metrics reliability and process improvement projects
  • Broad exposure to Sales Operations Finance and Wood Products Manufacturing
  • Develop Front Line Leader skills
