Job Description
Job Title: Senior QA Engineer with Automation Skills
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Develop maintain and execute automated test scripts using Postman and other automation
tools.
Design and implement test plans test cases and test scripts for web applications and APIs.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify system requirements and ensure
quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Identify document and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system reliability and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation.
Take ownership of projects and demonstrate proactiveness in identifying and addressing issues.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in QA and test automation.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of test automation tools specifically Postman.
Experience with other automation tools.
Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both
technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and tasks and proactively address issues.
Strong teamwork abilities and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working in the transportation industry.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript Python or similar.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
