Our client in theIT Industry based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ a Regional Business Development and Operations Manager
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development sales or operational management within the IT MSP industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth particularly in selling SLAbased IT solutions.
Strong understanding of IT Managed Services including: Proactive monitoring and maintenance Cloud computing and cybersecurity Network and infrastructure management Helpdesk and enduser support.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite CRM software and IT service management tools (e.g. ConnectWise Autotask or similar).
Knowledge of the Port Elizabeth/Eastern Cape market is highly desirable.
Deep understanding of SLA structures and their value proposition for clients.
Adaptability and resilience in a fastpaced environment.
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices in IT service delivery is a plus.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to: Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region specifically targeting clients in need of IT Managed Services and SLAbased solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients stakeholders and partners in the IT and business sectors.
Conduct market research to identify trends opportunities and competitive positioning within the IT MSP industry.
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the companys market presence in the Eastern Cape with a focus on SLAdriven IT services such as: Proactive IT support and maintenance: Network and infrastructure management Cloud services and cybersecurity solutions Data backup and disaster recovery Enduser support and helpdesk services.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations proposals and pitches to potential clients emphasising the value of SLAbased IT solutions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that support business development efforts in the IT MSP space.
Monitor and report on sales performance ensuring targets are met or exceeded
Operational Management:
Oversee the daytoday operations of the Port Elizabeth office ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Manage and mentor a team of technical and administrative staff fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve processes reduce costs and enhance service delivery for IT clients.
Ensure the office meets all financial legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage budgets resources and inventory for the regional office.
Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges promptly ensuring minimal disruption to client services.
