As a Senior Software Engineer you play a pivotal role in designing developing and maintaining the critical applications that power our services. Our UK Defence business is a Sovereign software and systems centre of excellence. As well as developing and supporting UK wide and internationally deployed multidomain command and control systems our work is critical to the modern backbone of the Royal Navy. Responsibilities:
- Design & develop robust and scalable applications using modern technologies and best practices.
- Get involved in the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to design implementation test and deployment.
- Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including product UX and QA.
- Mentor and guide junior developers contributing to the overall teams growth.

We are looking for:
- Experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on either Frontend JavaScript development (ideally within the React ecosystem with strong HTML & CSS knowledge) or Backend Java Development.
- Familiarity with CICD containerisation deployment technologies & cloud platforms (Jenkins Kubernetes Docker AWS).
- Excellent communication collaboration & problem solving skills ideally with some experience in agile ways of working.
Security clearance:
Due to the nature of our projects you must be British for this clearance type.
