Senior Process Engineer
Role Context:
For our Antwerp / Ghent office we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer
As a Senior Process Engineer you will fulfill a crucial role in projects in the (petro)chemical & refinery industry. You will act as an interface with the other engineering disciplines.
Youll be:
- Participates in the design of a process unit chemical petrochemical & pilots
- Provides guidance to less experienced process engineers
- Develops reviews and approvesprocess flow diagrams andheat and material balances to define project scope
- Reviews and approves datasheets for process equipment
- Prepares specifications and operating parameters for process piping and instrumentation equipment.
- Calculates and organizes data for PFDs and P&IDs
- Co develops processcontrol narratives and cause & effect diagrams
- Performs hydraulic calculations for fluid and vapor circuits
- Prepares sizing calculations for pressure relieving designs
- Participates in planning cost estimating and scheduling for projects
- Maintains effective communication with project team members and client
- Develops review and approves simulation models for a process unit
- Can have the lead over a project.This implies responsibility over planning manpower and quality
Youll have:
- Industry specific experience: Knowledge of engineering work process in the chemical petrochemical industry. Knowledge of biochemical process is a surplus. Experience in various project phases of large projects mainly conceptual and feed phases
- Education: Masters degree in engineering or industrial engineering discipline chemistry
- People skills: Motivational and collaborative communication skills
- Communication skills: Strong communication skills (speaking and writing)
- Language skills: Proficient in Dutch and English
