Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Sales and Business Development Manager Financial Services or Relationship Manager Financial Products to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales customer acquisition and building lasting relationships in the areas of insurance stock brokering and mutual funds. This role will involve identifying and generating new business opportunities expanding the customer base and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Customer Acquisition:
  • Identify prospect and acquire new clients for financial products (insurance stocks mutual funds).
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and generate leads.
  • Build a pipeline of potential customers and convert leads into sales.
  • Conduct sales presentations and meetings to effectively promote and explain financial products.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong longterm relationships with clients.
  • Provide tailored financial solutions based on individual client needs and goals.
  • Offer postsales support and regular followup to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Achieving Sales Targets:
  • Meet or exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop strategies to achieve growth targets in assigned regions or segments.
  • Track and report on performance against sales goals providing regular updates to management.
  • Market and Product Knowledge:
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends market conditions and new financial products.
  • Provide clients with expert advice on financial planning and investment strategies.
  • Conduct product presentations and training to internal teams as necessary.
  • Networking and Business Development:
  • Attend industry events seminars and conferences to expand the network and build professional relationships.
  • Explore new business opportunities and partnerships for the company.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities customer interactions and transactions.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in financial services sales (insurance stock brokering mutual funds).
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Prior experience in client acquisition relationship management and business development.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex financial products to clients.
  • Knowledge of financial markets insurance policies and mutual fund products.
  • Strong customer service orientation with an ability to build longterm relationships.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Finance Business Administration or related field (preferred).
  • Certifications in financial products (such as IRDA for insurance NISM for mutual funds) are a plus.
