Job Description

Job Summary:

The IML Machine Operator oversees the inmold labeling process ensuring highquality production of labeled plastic products. The role involves setting up machines monitoring operations troubleshooting issues and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate IML machines according to production specifications.
  • Load labels and raw materials into the machine.
  • Monitor the production process to ensure proper label placement and adhesion.
  • Perform quality checks to inspect products for defects and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machine operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean work environment.
  • Record production data and report any operational issues to supervisors.
  • Work closely with the quality control team to ensure product consistency.


Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Prior experience in the plastic molding labeling or packaging industry is a plus
  • Experience operating IML or injection molding machines (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Good mechanical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.


Experience: 5-10 years in production planning, stock maintenance, and order confirmation within a manufacturing environment, preferably in soap production. Proven experience with SAP systems, including stock management, order confirmation, and production planning modules. Strong understanding of soap production processes and industry-specific equipment.

Education

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in Production Planning, SAP, or Lean Manufacturing are advantageous.
