Job Description
Job Title: Service Director
Location: Berman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Oak Lawn IL
Compensation: $125000 $175000 per year
The Service Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Service Department ensuring profitability efficiency and superior customer service. This involves managing a team of advisors technicians and support staff while implementing best practices to optimize workflow quality control and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Service Department to ensure productivity efficiency and exceptional customer service
- Oversee advisors technicians and support staff to maintain high levels of performance and morale
- Drive profitability by managing department expenses setting revenue goals and implementing growth strategies
- Monitor and enhance service processes to improve efficiency turnaround time and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines warranty policies and dealership standards
- Maintain high CSI scores by prioritizing quality service and customer communication
- Train and mentor service staff to improve skills performance and professionalism

Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience in a Service Manager or Service Director role at a dealership (CDJR experience preferred)
- Union experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of increasing service department profitability and efficiency
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating large teams
- Ability to analyze KPIs and implement strategies for continuous improvement
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
