About the Role
A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated German Teacher to join their modern foreign languages department. Youll inspire a love of the German language and culture.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging German Teacher lessons covering grammar vocabulary and cultural topics.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Develop students language skills and intercultural understanding.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the German curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead Germanrelated extracurricular activities such as language clubs and cultural exchanges.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in German.
- Proven experience in teaching German at secondary level.
- Strong language skills and a passion for German language and culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
