Senior Key Account Manager

We are a growing team looking for a Senior Key Account Manager in our Milan office to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics.

The Senior Key Account Manager owns the ongoing growth and success of our most strategic accounts. They will solely be responsible for engaging with CSuite executives expanding shareofwallet and driving sennder adoption across customer organisations. These individuals are tasked with delivering a world class experience to Fortune 1000 customers and contributing directly to the top line growth of sennder.

The ideal candidate has experience in managing complex stakeholder environments and a proven ability to sell to multinational companies. Their primary focus will be owning commercial relationships to develop joint goals and strategies closing new expansion opportunities with sennders existing customers. They are a collaborative leader obsessed with driving customer success and motivated by building and shaping the future of digital freight.

This role requires a profile with excellent communication and negotiation skills high organizational abilities and a good understanding of logistics and supply chain management.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Build relationships with CSuite executives and key decision makers within customer organisations leading critical conversations to expand business opportunities
  • Develop and execute customer growth strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Facilitate RFP activities and manage negotiations resulting in sustainable economics for both parties
  • Employ critical thinking and creative problemsolving skills to navigate negotiations and the most complex customer conversations
  • Analyze large data sets to identify areas of opportunity influence decision makers improve cost of service and increase retention
  • Participate in strategic product roadmapping and sell that vision to our customers
  • Increase overall tech adoption and implement integrations that increase operational efficiency (EDI API)
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional internal teams such as Acquisition Sales Account Operations Partner Management Pricing and Product to explore and lead customer projects. You will indirectly manage a large network of stakeholders dedicated to servicing your portfolio
  • Project manage multiple work streams that ultimately help to elevate our customers experience and add value to existing partnerships

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 5 years of fulltime experience in endtoend Enterprise sales and/or partnerships
  • Experience selling into or partnering with large complex enterprise brands and organizations
  • Successful track record in logistics Account Management for strategic and growthoriented customer portfolios. Road freight logistics Account Management or Sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong commercial acumen (strategic thinking active listening negotiation skills conflict resolution and problem solving)
  • Customercentric approach (expectation management collaboration strong relationship building & development empathy and experience with customer retention)
  • Ability to build strong relationships with different stakeholder levels and functions and to manage senior stakeholders and executives
  • Ability to handle a broad range of responsibilities on your own learn and adapt quickly in a hypergrowth environment
  • Excellent communication presentation time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency in English; another language is a plus but not required
