About the Role
A vibrant Independent school in Harrow requires an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their creative department starting ASAP on a temporary basis. You will deliver inspiring art lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons covering a variety of mediums and techniques.
- Prepare students for assessments and exhibitions.
- Develop students artistic skills and creativity.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of art resources.
- Organize and potentially lead artrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art.
- Proven experience teaching art at secondary level.
- Strong artistic skills and knowledge of art history.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
