This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions and supports the success of our team by overseeing the daily administration and financial processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Process Management: Oversee administrative tasks such as data entry manifesting report generation and compliance with checklists to ensure all operational processes are followed and deadlines are met.
- Financials: Manage branch finances including monitoring the Branch Pallet Account handling Accounts Payable and ensuring timely processing of carrier invoices Purchase Orders and General Ledger (GL) reports. Ensure the checking of all connotes for correct rates and accuracy weekly and followup on all freight without a connote to maximise revenue.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate and review key reports such as Daily Load Reports Weekly Lane Analysis Report (LAR) InDepot Reports and Weekly Branch Reports to ensure accuracy and revenue maximisation.
- Employee Onboarding: Assist to ensure all team members are adequately trained and aware of safety protocols.
- Communication: Build and maintain good working relationships acting as a liaison between the sales service centre management ensuring clear and effective communication regarding operational matters and challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within administration processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational efficiencies.
Key Competencies & Technical Requirements:

- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data identify discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting and financial performance.
- Industry Knowledge: A good understanding of the national freight industry and the ability to navigate operational challenges effectively.

- Organisation: Proven experience working with KPIs and targets with strong time management and organisational skills.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel. Experience with companyspecific software (S2 SitePass InControl) is highly regarded.
- ProblemSolving: Excellent problemsolving skills particularly in data entry and financial processes.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high level of literacy and numeracy.
