However this does not imply the department is actively recruiting for this position. Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is seeking motivated highachieving students to assist with general support in the High Tech Center. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to work well as part of a team and individually.
The student worker will assist with the duties below. The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements and duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar related or a logical assignment to the HighTech Center.

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop bend kneel crouch reach and twist; to occasionally lift carry push and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25 pounds; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents; and to operate assigned equipment.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
Special Instructions: The person selected for hire will be required to complete the following preemployment requirements: Successful completion of all preemployment requirements is mandatory to be eligible for employment. These requirements are in accordance with the San Bernardino Community College Districts Administrative Procedures and Board Policies.
The student worker will assist students and SAS office staff with tasks as needed while maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of students who are served by SAS. The student worker will assist with tasks such as welcoming students and answering phones answering student and visitor questions regarding campus and SAS department assist students in the HTC and TSC. Help at various events and transport students on campus via department tram. Handle and file sensitive documents as needed. Other tasks as assigned. A valid drivers license and insurance are required.
