Owl Labs is on a mission to transform how teams collaborate. Our smart video collaboration devices are redefining meeting experiences and were looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Perception Team. This is an opportunity to work on cuttingedge technology and build solutions that make hybrid work seamless intuitive and inclusive.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Perception Team you will drive the development of algorithms and systems that empower Owl Labs devices to see understand and adapt to the dynamic environments of hybrid workspaces. Youll work on stateoftheart computer vision robotic perception and sensor fusion technologies translating them into delightful user experiences. Your contributions will help shape the future of video collaboration.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary perception team to create the next generation of smart video collaboration devices.
- Prototype implement and deploy novel algorithms for perception tasks to our fleet of smart devices.
- Develop robust highperformance software in modern C on Linux.
- Optimize algorithms for deployment on edge/mobile devices and multicamera systems.
- Create detailed documentation rigorous testing and scalable code for longterm product success.
- Innovate and iterate to continuously improve the experience for hybrid workspaces.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters degree in Computer Science Robotics Computer Vision or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in software development.
- Strong background in robotics domains such as SLAM sensor fusion scene understanding or motion planning.
- Extensive experience in programming algorithm design and translating concepts into deployed solutions.
- Track record of prototyping and deploying perception algorithms.
- Experience with OpenGL or Vulkan for rendering tasks.
- Experience deploying software on edge/mobile devices.
- Proven fluency in modern C development within Linux environments.
- Knowledge of multicamera setups and synchronization.
- Expertise with computer vision libraries like OpenCV TensorFlow or similar frameworks.
