Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Program Manager Transportation to join our team in Plantation FL. You will be the single threaded owner responsible for driving critical initiatives within our specialty transportation network including RX controlled substances cold chain and reverse logistics. This is a hand on role that focuses on creating designing and implementing programs that improve the speed customer experience and cost of our specialty transportation. You will get the opportunity to create and own a programmatic roadmap through clear business requirements partnering closely with specialty business owners transportation operations network operations systems and tech planning FC operations and finance. A candidate for this position must bring a collaborative mindset to the table and experience working in a fastpaced environment using data to drive decision making. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills with the ability to create their own business analytics with success driving action from business insights.
What Youll Do:
- Own programmatic strategic initiatives for specialty transportation by creating business requirement documents creating metrics and acting collaborative across a matrixed organization with cross functional teams
- Be the champion for speed customer experience and cost cross our transportation network for our specialty verticals and their corresponding modes
- Develop and maintain a roadmap between transportation operations transportation planning network operations FC teams finance vertical business owners and procurement to lead change that align with business objectives
- Use data to perform analysis and transform those insights into clear requirements to drive transportation operations/programs enhancements new features and new tools
- Develop and maintain operational metrics to monitor performance of transportation initiatives and measure impact of enhancements/features across the transportation operations
- Utilize data to understand business objectives and identify defects; transform those insights into clear actions to drive transformational change across the operation.
What Youll Need:
- 3 years functional experience in performing analysis creating business requirements documents and leading change management roadmaps across a matrix organization
- 3 years of program and/or project management experience
- Strong analytical skills including SQL Tableau and advanced Excel including the ability to pull data create dashboards and derive insights from large data sets.
- Experience in an ecommerce environment preferably in transportation supply chain and/or operations
- Strong written verbal analytical and problemsolving skills
- BS or masters degree in supply chain industrial engineering logistics or equivalent
- Position may require travel
