JOB TITLE: Sr. Account Consultant Surety
JOB TYPE: FLSA Exempt
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial surety accounts including new business development and renewal activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their unique surety bond needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with underwriters to assess risk determine bond eligibility and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of client financials and to ensure accurate underwriting and pricing.
- Prepare and present surety bond proposals to clients addressing their specific requirements and provide clear explanations of terms and conditions.
- Monitor and manage the surety bond renewal process ensuring timely and accurate renewals.
- Stay updated on industry trends regulations and market conditions related to commercial surety bonds.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Insurance Account Executives to provide comprehensive service to clients.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate client records including bond information financials and communication history.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients providing guidance and support throughout the bond process and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in the surety industry with a focus on commercial surety bonds.
- Strong knowledge of commercial surety underwriting guidelines risk assessment and bond pricing.
- Proven track record in managing and growing a portfolio of commercial surety accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong negotiation and problemsolving abilities.
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
