A growing company seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Team Leader to oversee and guide a team of field service technicians. This role is responsible for commissioning new installations troubleshooting hardware and software issues and ensuring highquality service delivery. A background in electrical engineering along with strong leadership skills and technical expertise in metering systems is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Field Support:
- Supervise and lead a team of field service technicians providing training guidance and handson support.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues and developing effective solutions.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals expectations and updates.
- Ensure accurate installation commissioning and operation of metering systems for optimal performance and reliability.
- Customer Service & Compliance:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure all service activities comply with industry regulations and company standards.
- Operations & Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement service schedules and protocols to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Track and analyze service metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on service activities team performance and customer feedback.
- Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps and enhance service quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Background in electrical engineering.
- Experience in a field service role preferably with metering equipment SCADA EMS/BMS or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring including residential threephase industrial or controls wiring.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support field operations.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily fieldbased with regular travel to customer sites and occasional office visits.
- May require work outside regular business hours to meet customer needs or project deadlines.
Salary: $80k $90k/Year
