Job Description
Job Title: Adjunct Faculty of Mathematics
Reporting Relationship:Chair Division of Math Engineering & Computer Science
Unit: IWUMarion
Department: Division of Math & Cis
Campus Location: Ott Hall of Sciences & Nursing
Duties and Responsibilities
- Attend and lead all required class sessions
- Promptly assess student coursework and submit via Brightspace (the universitys learning management system)
- Coordinate with Division Chair and/or Academic Dean regarding classroom or student issues in a timely manner
Qualifications:According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
- Minimum of eighteen 18 graduate hours in a field closely related to mathematics
- Masters degree preferred
Experience
- Prior undergraduate teaching experience preferred
Required Skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
