Account Executive Austria (role based in Munich to cover Austria)

Are you a passionate resultsdriven sales professional eager to make an impact in the world of cybersecurity while being part of the best company culture in the industry Rapid7 is looking for a Strategic Account Executive to join our highperforming DACH sales team focusing on driving new customer acquisition across Austria and fueling the growth of our DACH region.(Based in Munich)

About the Role

At Rapid7 we dont just sell cybersecurity solutionswe partner with customers to help them secure their digital future. As part of our EMEA Sales organization youll be at the forefront of protecting businesses with our cuttingedge technology and services.

About the Team

Youll be working alongside a dynamic team of 12 Account Executives supported by inregion Business Development Representatives Channel Account Managers Solutions Engineers and Customer Success Managersall working together to deliver bestinclass cybersecurity solutions.

We set you up for success with worldclass sales enablement programs ongoing coaching and training designed to immerse you in our business our products and our mission.

In this role you will:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying qualifying and closing new business opportunities in the strategic accounts space.

  • Engage and consult with prospects to align their needs with Rapid7s solutions becoming their trusted cybersecurity advisor.

  • Turn insights into action using client feedback to shape impactful strategies and influence decisionmaking.

  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Channel Sales Engineering Sales Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless implementation and longterm customer success.

The skills youll bring include:

  • 4 years of fullcycle sales experience in cybersecurity with a history of exceeding quota.

  • A track record of success in driving revenue through new business development and sustainable growth.

  • Autonomous and resilientable to excel under pressure in a fastpaced targetdriven environment.

  • Strategic mindsetskilled at building meaningful relationships and navigating complex sales cycles.

  • Entrepreneurial spirityoull own and drive your business in the Bavaria region.

  • A collaborative team playerwho thrives in a highperforming sales culture.

  • Fluent in German & English and based in Bavaria.

  • A deep understanding of the Austrian market with a proven track record of success.

  • Willingness to travel 40 for client meetings as needed.
