MRO (Maintenance Repair & Overhaul) Programme Lead Naval

Full Time

Bristol

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a role as a key part of the Naval Fleet & MRO team to lead a significant programme of work to plan and deliver our MRO requirements for Naval gas turbines.Working directly with various maintenance organisations in our MRO network the role will be the key interface between MRO workstreams and our global customer base including the UK Royal Navy.

The role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to develop valuable expertise and knowledge of programme management load and capacity planning and our Navy Customers. The role requires integration of crossfunctional teams to prioritise and deliver MRO throughput. This role will be at the forefront of delivering our future Royal Navy support enabling our Customer to continue its operations as well as maximising the benefits delivered to our Shareholders and Team members.

Responsibilities

  • The MRO Programme Lead is a key role within Naval Programmes for ensuring that all contracted Maintenance Repair and Overhaul activities are enabled and executed to contract requirements.
  • The MRO Programme Lead will be responsible for Quality Cost and Delivery (QCD) to the contract specifications of global customers.
  • The role will ensure that value stream performance is accurately represented and maintained in the business performance metrics required.
  • The MRO Programme Lead will manage the MRO supplier value streams for Naval Programmes inclusive of induction planning working with the customer delivery of hardware and load prioritisation.
  • The role will support continuous improvement and MRO related value management activity to meet increasingly demanding TRT and contract cost reduction targets.
